    Unlike many adults who reveled in a long weekend, many of Jackson Hole’s youth commemorated Martin Luther King Jr. Day by honoring the man and the mission and acknowledging that discrimination still exists in our town and country.Students at the Jackson Hole Community School organized “March for Tolerance 2007,” inviting other schools and the entire community to take part.   ...

Jackson Hole Community School serves grades nine to 12 with challenging academics, learning through discovery, a focus on environmental consciousness, excellent teachers and extracurricular activities. Conceived of in 1999, the school first rang its bell for 18 ninth- and tenth-grade students in the fall of 2004. Enrollment was up to 29 students in 2005, and the school will graduate its first class in 2007.
