Jackson Hole, Wyo.-Teton County School District has three so-called outlying schools. Moran, Kelly and Alta Elementary are all small, with less than 50 students each learning in multiple-grade classroom. Located near the north end of Grand Teton National Park, just south of Yellowstone and on the way over Togwotee Pass to Dubois, Moran Elementary Schools serves grades K-5 with two multi-grade classrooms. The small, rural setting provides an intimate educational experience for students, many of whose parents are employed by the National Park Service.
