Jackson Hole, Wyo.-Simply Ruckus, a collection of sci-fi totem paintings by Benji “Ruckus” Pierson, opens at Full Circle Frameworks and Gallery.

In February, Ruckus abandoned his usual subject matter – robots and aliens – to paint wildlife in a series called Mechanimals, which saw commercial success at the Brew Pub. Part Oglala Sioux, he is now applying his mechanical, space-age aesthetic to Native American culture.

With DJ Sessions, the opening will go from 5:30 to 9 p.m., Friday, at FCF&G, 345 N. Glenwood.
