Party still King of the Hill

Jackson Hole, Wyoming - It’s $5 for a lift ride, but free if you hike.

At the top, revelry awaits.

The Snazbash is taking over the Panorama house: the rarely-used, somewhat mysterious building on top of Snow King Mountain.

Excellent views will complement live music from Rotating Superstructure, dance jams by local deejays and free beer and wine. Snow King season passes will be available for purchase.

The Snazbash is an end-of- the-year party hosted by thesnaz.com, a Jackson blog run by David Gonzales and his associate Sam Petri. They wanted to host an end-of-summer event to celebrate the Jackson lifestyle.

“I think it complements everything else going on that weekend at the Fall Arts Festival,” Petri said. “We’ll be the people drinking mead and playing their flutes on top of the mountain.”

The Snazbash, also called the Snazival or Snazboree, will run 1 p.m. to 5 p.m., Sunday. 690-7064 or thesnaz.com.
