Jackson Hole, Wyo.-There are plenty of foodies in Jackson. You know the kind of person who doesn’t just enjoy eating, but delights in food, savors the subtle flavors, and appreciates the aromas and overall experience of dining.
Now there is a place—beyond the local restaurants—for food lovers to congregate in celebration of taste buds. A new club called Dishing, with a focus on talking, tasting and experimenting in food, will hold its inaugural meeting this week. Allison Arthur, food columnist for The Dish of the JH News&Guide, will host a screening of the Taiwanese film Eat, Drink, Man, Woman, followed by a tasting of Asian-inspired appetizers.
“In a small town like Jackson, we don’t always have as much access to different types of food,” Arthur said, “but there are just as many people who enjoy food and enjoy learning about it.”
Dishing meets from 6 to 8 p.m., Thursday, Ordway Auditorium, Teton County Library. Free. 733.2164
