White Stripes, Collective Soul book Jackson Hole shows

Jackson Hole, Wyo. - Bravo Entertainment has just announced two concerts planned for this summer at Snow King Resort.

The first big show is Live and Collective Soul, scheduled for July 18 at Snow King Amphitheatre. Tickets will go on-sale June 8 at 10 a.m. at ticketweb.com, in Jackson at Tobacco Row, Mountunes, Global Treasures, in Driggs at Big Hole Music, in Idaho Falls at CD World, and in Pocatello at Budget Tapes and Records. Reserved seating will be $49.75, and general admission will be $25 on June 8 and increase in price as the concert date approaches, reaching $49.75 the day of show.
   
Known for hit singles “I Alone” and “Lightning Crashes,” Live’s alternative rock style broke into mainstream success with their 1995 album “Throwing Copper. Collective Soul is an alt-rock band out of Georgia who formed in the late 80s and has released six studio albums, the latest of which is on their own label, El Music Group.

The White Stripes will be performing at Snow King Center on September 10. The Grammy-Award winning rock duo from Detroit is led by songwriter/producer/guitarist/vocalist /actor Jack White and is supported b
y Meg White on drums, percussion and vocals.

The duo is known for their low-fi, raw sound and simplistic compositions, and are on a quest to perform in all of the remaining sixteen states that they have yet to play. They’ll be touring in support of their album, “Icky Thump,” to be released June 19 on Warner Brother Records. Ticket information for the Jackson show has yet to be announced, but fans can sign up at whitestripes.com to become eligible for “pre-sale” tickets.
