Crowds gather to watch fox family near Snow King

Monday, May 19, 2008

By Planet User

Jackson Hole, Wyoming - Crowds of photographers and wildlife lovers gathered over the weekend to watch the now famous mother fox frolic with her five kits.

Because the nest is located less than 20 feet from the road, on Snow King Avenue near the intersection of Flat Creek Drive, onlookers were able to observe the family with ease.

Thank you to Kenneth Shore of Jackson for submitting these terrific photos.current image

Kenneth Shore should be nominated for Nature Boy of the Year! Those Photo's should be in National Geographic! By the way is this the same famous Ken Shore that is the General Manager of the Snake River Lodge and Spa?

I can understand the desire to check 'em out; nonetheless, I get the feeling it's best if people leave 'em alone.

Currently, the Karns meadow is a dog park. There is a pathway planned for the area where the fox live.
