Jackson Hole, Wyoming - Well, it's official, and it’s arguably Jackson Hole’s hippest festival to date featuring some of the industry’s top acts. Produced by the Festival Network, The Jackson Hole Music Festival will host Wilco, The Black Crowes, Medeski Martin & Wood, The Avett Brothers, Son Volt, Kaki King, Backdoor Slam, and others to be announced. It’s the type of festival locals have been talking about for years.
“The Festival Network has a history of picking unique destinations,” said fest producer and former Jackson resident Jay Sweet. “People in Jackson have eclectic music tastes and can handle a fest like this where we break the genre game. We picked artists that are vibrant and want try different things within their set, and have sophisticated fans.”
The fest will take place August 16-17 at the base of Eagle’s Rest Run at Jackson Hole Mountain Resort in Teton Village. Single day tickets as well as a limited number of two-day passes go on sale this Friday. Single day general admission tickets are $67.50 for adults, $10 for children 5-12, and free for children five and under. Early bird, two-day passes are $110, and $130 thereafter.
Tickets will be available for purchase by calling 877-655-4TIX or online at festival network.com.
“We had a couple of priorities in mind,” Sweet said. “To serve the community by making this something that locals can count on yearly, and to give people another reason to come to Jackson in the summer.”
