Give it to me straight
Some of you order double-skinny-mocha-chai-latte-supremes at 7 a.m. Give me my medium regular and get out of my way. If your caffeinated drink has shots of caramel, whipped crème, steamed milk and sprinkles, it’s not even coffee anymore; it’s a cup of pretension. That’s OK, treat yourself – you just came from yoga.
Jackson Hole Roasters, in the funky log shack on East Broadway just this side of Willow, has everything I need. No line, a giant vat of coffee, and a tin can that says “Honor Jar.” Just drop in $1.25 for a small, $1.50 for a medium, or $1.75 for a large, and you’re drinking Jackson Hole’s best coffee brewed directly from the source. Thanks, Jack, for keeping me sane.
