National Trails Day

One of the best parts about cycling is that once you make the initial investment for the bike, the riding is free! Well, almost.
The truth: there is a price we should all pay for the privilege to be a mountain biker. The fee? Just a little of your time.
Trail creation and maintenance, although taken for granted, is the responsibility of each individual rider. Our local Forest Service employees do a great job of creating the blueprints for our network, but they simply do not have the funding to implement their vision.
This Saturday June 2 is National Trials Day. The U.S. Forest Service, Friends of Pathways, and Teton Freedom Riders are organizing a dig event on Teton Pass. Crews will assemble at 9 a.m. at the Ski Lake trailhead.
Refreshments and tools will be provided. Stop by and work as little or as much as you can and help chip away at your bill!
