JH Moose leave impression on Utah team

Wednesday, February 24, 2010

By Ben Cannon

Jackson Hole, Wyo.-The Park City Pioneers are still smarting from the beatdown they took at the hands of the Jackson Hole Moose hockey club Feb. 12 to 13.

“Playing on their home ice, the Moose handed the visiting Pioneers their hats, doling a pair of whippings, 13-4 and 11-6, Friday and Saturday,” wrote Park Record sportswriter David Hampshire.

“They’re a good team,” team captain David Imonti said. “But we beat them when they were out here, so they are beatable.” Imonti offered that the five-hour drive to Jackson Hole may have put the Pioneers at a disadvantage Friday. - JN
