Jackson Hole, Wyo.-What’s going on with our local singletrack these days? Well for starters, most everything is riding totally sweet. We've been having nice long days to ride, with bits of rain here and there to keep things nice and tacky.
According to Teton Pass expert, Warren Ostler, Ridge Trail is the best trail in Jackson, explaining, “The new stuff goes all the way down to Fish Creek, and it’s so rad!” Also, check out the completely new trail on the pass, Fuzzy Bunny, which is getting better every day as people break it in.
The kind folks at the Friends of Pathways are planning their 11th annual Grand Teton National Park Celebration Ride on August 8th. They will be riding from Dornan's to Jenny Lake and supplying food for participants. This year is extra special because we are celebrating the new pathways under construction that will connect Jackson to GTNP!
Last year, the people of Jackson made it clear that sippin’ suds under the stars while watching great flicks is the best way to spend an evening. Fitzgerald’s Bicycles is again hosting a Tuesday Night Bike-In Movie Series slopeside at Snow King in August. Last year ,we raised more than $1,600 for local non-profits with two movies, this year we have four! Our first movie is RAD, beginning at dusk, on August 10th - with proceeds benefiting KHOL. Spinal Tap will play on August 17th benefiting KHOL. Ghostbusters, on August 24th, benefits the Teton Artlab. And the original Karate Kid will play on August 31st benefiting Treefight!
