Moratorium spawns wolf-lovers’ nightmare

JACKSON HOLE, WYO. – Developer James Reinhurt wasted no time after learning his proposed Whippoorwill Pines project was dead in the water after county commissioners voted to impose a moratorium on all large-scale developments in the county, including his. The Chicago entrepreneur immediately announced his intention to convert the 288-acre property into a wolf hunting preserve.

“Those NIMBY namby-pambies don’t want to displace wildlife for actual, beneficial workforce housing?” Reinhurt said. “Well, all I have to say is, be careful what you wish for.”

Reinhurt has approached the Wyoming Game and Fish Department with the plan to offer unlimited hunting on his new meadow development: Lazy Lupus Ranch. Reinhurt’s attorney, Robbing Leaving, said they were close to finalizing an agreement with Game and Fish that would lift the ‘trophy’ designation of the wolf within the boundaries of the Lazy Lupus.

“Wolf hunters and haters will be able to blast away all day and all night,” Leaving said.
Lazy Lupus hopes to open by late September, offering a special half-price deal for Sublette County residents, which will include transportation, lodging and complementary rental of night-vision goggles. Reinhurt said it has always been his dream to bring to Jackson Hole a land development that fit the community, while keeping with the valley’s western heritage.

“It was the old pioneers’ dream to homestead here in Jackson Hole, raise cattle and wipe out the wolf,” Reinhurt said. “If I am disallowed the chance to make the dream of owning your own soddy come true for people, I can at least help modern day settlers realize the other great Wyoming hope: to see the wolf eradicated.”

County commissioner Pill Baddleford said it was deplorable what Reinhurt was attempting to do. “He just went from being public enemy number one in the ‘letters to the editor department’ to a front-page outlaw,” he said. “The last thing this county needs is more affordable housing and those Pinedale rednecks coming up here with their oily boots, shooting up the place.”

If Reinhurt’s proposed preserve goes through, it could pave the way for even more wildlife hunting. Preliminary long-term plans include a purchase of the nearby elk feeding grounds. According to Reinhurt, by 2010, Jackson hunters could be enjoying a two-for-one special on his ranch by gunning down a wolf and the elk it was chasing.
“God, it’s great to be a red-blooded American with money,” said Reinhurt as he thumbed another shell into his Winchester and gazed off into the setting sun.

What a worthless hick this "James Reinhurt" is. It sounds to me like this passion for killing Wolves is his way to overcompensate for something he has been lacking all his life...I bet he pops male enhancement pills like he pops rounds in his rusty ole Winchester.

Reinhurt, you dirty scumbag redneck! How do heartless fools like you exist? There is no way you can be the least bit happy with the despicable reincarnation of Lucifer you've become. Do the rest of the world a big favor and stop taking the dissatisfaction of your worthless life out on animals...grab your Winchester and take it out on your own selfish self. I'm from Chicago, and to say the least, very ashamed that you're associated with my hometown. Now I live in Colorado, not too far from your little punk-ass. I'd love to come up there to your Lazy Redneck Ranch and teach you a thing or two, but I suppose you'd just shoot me. You're definitely one of the worst "red-blooded American with money", though I bet your scummy little body tickles with pride at that title. "...I can at least help modern day settlers realize the other great Wyoming hope: to see the wolf eradicated." Did you really say that? A warning to all useful civil humans (and wild animals): watch-out for idiots with guns, they're everywhere.

Unfortunately, I'm not as equipped with powerful words as my predecessors are, but certainly the anger is there. Mr. Reinhurt, it's hard to tell if your ideas and comments are truthful, or just some hoax to get people fired up. I've never heard such a bad idea in all my life! But, by making such comments in the media, you've obviously proved yourself an idiot. I suppose you're a Rush Limbaugh fan. Hitler, Sadaam, Stalin,...Reinhurt. How does it feel?

I take comfort in knowing full-heartedly that this plan will never, ever come to reality. Surely one would have to invent some sort of mind control device to use on the comissioners, boardpeople, and even Fish and Game officials in Jackson for this hairbrained scheme to pass any sort of serious consideration. And if somehow all these folks were bought or brainwashed or just plain have poor morals, well then Mr. Reinhurt can be sure that I would take great pleasure in gunning him down myself.

That was great....All I know is that i will sign up to shot the first wolf...Assuming that I am not off hunting them in the non-trophy area. Either way it is now legal to kill wolves in Wyoming, in the non-trophy area, you can kill them today and in the trophy area, you can kill them when the season opens this fall. I will take which ever I can get. I have witnessed first hand what they are doing to the wildlife. Anyway, I am getting off on a tangent here. Per the article...althought he might be pushing his luck, it is nice to see a rich man with enough money to make comments that scare all the tree huggers...I mean come on, that most likely will not pass, but it is sure fun to watch the reaction people have when he is trying to do something besides saveng the spotted owl, whales, or in this case the over populated wolf packs near jackson hole and the Teton park.

Rusys the only one with any sense so far!! Try and get them all before they get to Utah.We dont want them here!
Trev

"Try and get them all before they get to Utah.We dont want them here!" Ummm...Speak for yourself Bozo! Got news for ya...We already have them here in Utah, and they are welcome. Don't worry...You and everyone with your attitude about wolves are slowly being replaced by a new generation of "tree huggers" that will shape new laws regulations favoring the wolf, not the hunter. Must be a real bummer for you knowing that time on on the side of the wolf, while your sand is slowly slipping through the hour glass...
