XXX Games

Jackson Hole, Wyo.-Just weeks after the X Games in upscale Aspen, Colo. with Jackson Hole’s own Travis Rice winning the big air competition, another lesser known competition is getting underway in Las Vegas – the XXX Games. The XXX Games began in 2006 as the brain child of adult entertainment promoter Fuzzy Whenly, and though X Games featured amazing athletes showing incredible proficiency in snow sports, the XXX Games features competitors who are no less determined, and who demonstrate stunning athleticism, flexibility and endurance in the realm of “happy-time” activities.

“Las Vegas is not known as a haven for outdoorsy types, but the indoor athletic scene is amazing!,” Whenly said. ”What we are trying to create is a whole new area of sports competition, and this is something that almost everybody can relate to.”
“This is not about romance,” said competitor Candy Muldoon, “We are serious atheletes trying to push our limits, and stretch the boundaries of what is possible.” Muldoon, a medalist in last year’s XXX Games decathalon, says that she has fully recovered from her unfortunate injury in the pole vault, and is ready for this week’s challenge, “I’ve been train
ing hard all summer and fall and I feel ready to give 100 percent.”

The bedroom exploits of some of America’s most talented “happy-time” practitioners will be featured from 10 p.m. to 2 a.m. Friday and Saturday night on ESPN3.

“We are always looking for ways to expand the franchise, finding new cutting edge sporting events to capture a larger demographic.” said Chad Cameron, vice president of development for ESPN, “The XXX games are a dynamic and exciting event, very now and hip, very down with what young people are doing now-a-days.

Jackson Hole fans will be watching closely for local competitors Trina Blanken and Rodney Hall who made it into the Las Vegas competition on the merits of a very strong showing during a late night party in Teton Village last fall. PJH
